the horizontal beam of my monitor stand shloud be out of tubes as well..
As far as i know do the ergotech mounts not fit on a pole. They use some other mechanism or mounting technique

Whats the diameter of the pole? I can´t find that information anywhere on google and i know u guys have some experience with this product
