There is nothing in the world could "fix" that problem. A 3 dimensional room on a linear is allways in "perspective", combined with a field of view higher then 120° will result in this unnatural effect. Curving a display could reduce that effect again i guess, or maybe a cubed ...

Is there any way to fix the fisheye-distortion? None of the vertical lines in the screenshots posted in this thread are straight closer to the edges, and it gets way worse when using triple-monitor setup.

The FOV address is pretty much random. It can also change to a different address during the game (for example when viewing the first VHS tape).
On 5760x1200 resolution there is great amount of distortion (not stretching, but fisheye effect towards the edges), and it increases a lot when increasing ...
