The remastered Bioshock is out and it does not natively support ultrawide out of the options menu. Undeterred I started digging around in the config file and made it work.
The config file is located at %APPDATA%\BioshockHD\Bioshock\ (thanks PCGamingWiki )
In the config file I changed the following ...

Re: Overwatch OFFICIAL RELEASE: Pillar-boxed - NO 21:9
Blizzard has made no indication they intend to fix this but they made no signs they were going to fix Heroes of the Storm either they just did it out of the blue.

Re: Grandpa needs a little reassurance
With a 980 Ti you might be able to get a good frame rate at 3440x1440 so feel free to experiment. I only have a 970 so running at 3440 is pushing it for a 2015 game.

Re: Grandpa needs a little reassurance
Yes the witcher3 file that starts the game is an executable file (exe.) Take the exe of your preferred resolution (2560 or 3440) rename it witcher3 and put it in the folder where the original witcher3 exe was. This will replace the original exe with the modified one and the cutscenes should display ...

Re: Grandpa needs a little reassurance
Monitors advertise their maximum resolution, the best thing they can display, but you can change what games display on a case by case basis. In in-game settings menus you can almost always change the resolution to a different one. Since the Witcher 3 displays 21:9 resolutions by default you can just ...

I'd highly recommend the Witcher 3 since it's a great game and we can help you out with any issues you run into.

Re: Starcraft 2 No longer working
Any update on this? Anyone working on a Legacy of the Void fix? Theoretically Blizzard shouldn't break it again since they have finished their trilogy.
Plus they just patched 21:9 support into Heroes of the Storm so their whole "21:9 gives an unfair competitive edge" argument is kinda shot.

This was the first time I had to use a hex editor and it did take two seconds but I'd add a couple of implied steps to the guide
1. Open the game and set the resolution to 1920x1080 and close the game
2. Google a Hex Editor there are a bunch of free ones; I used HxD.
3. Use ResHex to find the ...

Re: Dell U3415w vs Acer predator Z35 vs Suggestions ?
I've got an LG 34 inch that is pretty similar to your Dell (34 inch 3440x1440 60 hz) and I've got to say that I find the desire for these higher end monitors seems crazy to me because of the graphics card power required to run them. Here's my reasoning.

Re: Call of Duty: Black Ops III - Stretched 21:9
So I got this game today and was super frustrated to find that it was stretched, however this video gave me hope that the game could be fixed so the game world at least isn't stretched.
Turns out all I had to do was crank up the FOV slider and it looks great. I mean the HUD is a little stretched ...

Do you know any other mod, method etc, to fix the Power Armor Hud?
Check out this Steam community post, they figured out an easy INI fix.

Re: Looking to join the 21:9 club. Have some questions!
I've got a GeForce 970 and a 34 inch 3440x1440 monitor, in my experience it breaks down like this:
Web browsing, multitasking, normal usage : I love having the 3440x1440 space it feels like I've got a lot of room
Easy to run games 21:9 games (Rocket League, XCOM) : I run it on 3440x1440 and have ...

Re: Hello on a great day
I agonized over this same dilemma of 1080 v 1440. I ended up getting a 3440x1440 34UM95 and I'm super happy with it but I think some of that pixel density is wasted since my 970 can't keep up with intensive games. For now I think 2560x1080 is the way to go for a balance of performance and increased ...

Is the game broken for players who buy Legacy of the Void or is it broken for every version of Starcraft 2? I was looking at getting the first two campaigns, but it would suck if they just broke it retroactively.

Hello WSGF!
Hello WSGF! I've just bought myself a new 21:9 LG 34UM95 and I am loving it. I did a lot of research to see what would and wouldn't work on it and I'm so glad I took the plunge. I noticed that the WSGF Database is the best one online and it's still missing tons of 21:9 info so I'm going to start ...
