How can i tell if it's passive or active adapter ( In ebay description they wrote active )

I ment i use it in two dvi d outputs then DP and HDMI wont work ofcourse i can connect DVI D + HDMI and DVI D but only two will work :/

yes, monitors work perfectly and i can use it to two dvi ports for two monitors but then others two dont work

I really need your help, i have been trying to connect 3 monitors to my pc but keep getting settings is not possible two 17 inc and one 19 inch

i used:
1 monitor: Dp port To DVI D but use simple dvi i Cable
2. HDMI to DVI I
3. Simple DVI i

Does anyone know what i do wrong ?
