If you want to use (Widescreen) a custom resolution:
- Go to the shortcut that you start the game;
- Right click on properties;

- And put in target down to the following:
- "C: \ Program Files \ Maxis \ SimCity 4 Deluxe \ Apps \ SimCity 4.exe" SimCity 4.exe" -CustomResolution:enabled -r1680x1050 ...

That Sudden Strike a fun game for his age, I sometimes still up from the bookcase.
