Thanks for the info. I'm kinda surprised. I completely get that a less powerful GPU with more vram will give less FPS than a more powerful GPU with less vram (within reasonable limits) but I thought running Eyefinity at 5040x1040 or 5760x1200 would cause a 1gb Vram frame buffer to be completely used...

Just a quick question. I run eyefinity triples on an iMac i5 3.1ghz with a 1gb 6970m (mobile variant) GPU. Its not a power house like many systems others have here but it does with a bit of tweaking. I've been offered another iMac with a i7 3.4ghz and a 2gb 6970m GPU. I've searched high and low here...
