Thats what I'm using, perhaps thats the problem?

What is this "active" part you speak of?

What connection do you use on you GPU ?

1x DVI to DVI monitor
1x HDMI to HDMi Monitor
1x DVI with adapter to VGA Monitor ?

If yes, that doesn't work! only sapphire FLEX cards support that setup!
If you want to use 3 or more Monitor you're limited to 2x DVI or 1x DVI + HDMI Output on your GPU ...

AMD HD Radeon 7850

1 x DVI to DVI
1x VGA to VGA
1 x Display Port to HDMI

I use the DVI, VGA and Display port on the 7850

This is what I read that should work.

I had to buy the Display port - HDMI cable because on the AMD website it sais thats what was needed for 3 monitors for my card

If anyone could help or give some advice It would be most appreciated
