This board just wont do the job.

Unfortunately I don't have the cash at this stage to do a full upgrade at this stage.

Yep, I realize that I will loose a bit of performance.
Yep, both fans spin, but they are powered directly from the PSU.

The 670 & 680 are out of my price range at the moment.
And I'm not sure if they will fit inside the case

I just tried another card in the second slot (GT430) still ...

So you put the old GPU, which you know is working, into 2nd PCI-E2.0 Slot and you dont get any signal?

Same power connector as in old slot?

What does the Mainboard Manual say about SLI?

Check out Mainboard support Forums if there is a bug in the BIOS Firmware, newer Software aviable ...
