It looks like its just the AMDs drivers NOT supporting luxor 3 and/or modern Samsung display's edid/firmware at launch,because
once in the game,the game works well

no go with the applied files the game still doesn't work
they don't do anything,game doesn't launch but the errors I mentioned don't display

may I ask what those files are & what they do

the game generates a system error log(I presume) every time the fails to launch

long story short luxor 3 hasn't worked on Samsung displays on AMD drivers since feb 2011
if you have a Samsung display & AMD drivers (hdtv or monitor) if you could test the game if it works for you
post here if it does or doesn't

or if you have another brand of display & have NVidia or whatever pc ...

Actually there is a fan mod that enables proper stretching in 16x9. It's by a guy with a nickname Marcelo_20xx. It can be found here: http&#58;//filebeam&#46;com/ee7e9dd70271897cf2082ecbd4fc630a . Replaces the game's exe file.
