That does help a lot, actually! I only just read about the 12.6 driver fix after posting this, as i'm currently using a Nvidia card i haven't really kept up to date with the AMD drivers.
Well now I think i might lean toward the Sapphire 7970 if i can mix and match outputs, will definitely save ...
