4960x1600 is still better than 3440x1440 in my opinion as you are still getting more in both directions, i would not give up my 4960x1600 for 3440x1440.
IF it can do 20x30x20 PLP
IF it can do 20x30x20 PLP 4960x1600 then count me in.
