| I got this working in the end - I used my Desktop HD6870 to output a .txt file with DVI out 2560x1440 configuration settings, then changed the adapter index and display index to match the HDMI out on my laptop - transferred it to my laptop - uploaded and Wallah! I had my Dell U2711 working at 2560x1... |

| Haldi, hope you are still around - interesting guide. I have good reason to follow it at the moment (getting a laptop working at 2560x1440 via HDMI - it can be done have done it before from HDMI to a DELL U2711 DVI-D) Following the guide I ran into a problem... I get the following errors after adlut... |
