the box from matrox runs good before i had a harddisk crash on my book, so i installed snow leopard fresh and things was not the same, i used the adapter dvi to vga!
Now i get new cabel for digital, i use a DVI-I - hdmi - DVI-I cable adapters to the box and from there with DVI ...
