First, what is your budget?
Skyrim is very non-demanding in hardware. Heck in bezel-compensated 3x1680x1050 I could get framerates with high settings with my old HD6850.
$125-250 is what I was hoping to spend.
i think i may be asking too much of that budget, perhaps 30fps is enough ...

So I'd like to get multi-monitors setup and those are the two games I play.
I have 3 Samsung 205BW monitors that do 1680x1050 with DVI connections.
I like the idea of not needing adapters but realize DVI might be an outdated technology to use.
