Re: Newb LF tri-setup starting help
I registered here years ago but the mod that I told a year ago that I couldn't get access to my old email never replied back to help me get my original account back.
It has taken a month to get answers here. This is a very slow response forum for replies.

Help me understand World of Tanks solution
I am having trouble understanding the WoT page.
All it says, which is kind of confusing, is:
Eyefinity / Surround Specific Solution
Edit the preference file in World of Tanks, and you can search for pref*.xml under C:/Users, and may be your pref file was in a slightly different location. Then ...

Re: New to tri-monitor setups; seeking help
The biggest issue is that you will be using 3 different monitors. Nvidia surround and amd eyefinity are very particular about the monitors been matched.
they must all have the same resolution, refresh rate and sync polarity. The sync polarity is what normally causes incompatibility issues and its ...

Is this supposed to be a useful thread?
As the first reply says (if those numbers are supposed to be links), they don't work, as they aren't even links.

So if you want to run Three Monitors from one Computer (one Graphics Card!) You need either and AMD Card or a new Nvidia (aka GTx660, 670 or better)
What is your take on this one then?

GTX460 only supports 2 Monitors!
If you want more you'd either have to
A: Buy another GTX360 and go SLI
B: Buy a new Card that supports 3 or more Monitors.
In another words buy a new motherboard + another card, or spend ~$320 on a TripleHead2Go.

Newb LF tri-setup starting help
I have two 24" LCDs. If I can afford a third I will get one but know nothing about how to do it.
I assume I need a mb with dual PCI-E as this one only has one slot + the standard PCI?
I heard of the Matrox TripleHead2Go.
(edit: wow slow forum. Wrong forum? Not one new post in 4 hours ...
