Got my original directory back:

Right click on skyrim folder >properties > previous versions.

It had a 'yesterday' box, so i copied that to another hard drive, renamed the patched steam one to 'skyrim_BS_updated', and copied my working one back.

I had my steam update turned off, and somehow after playing for a couple hours, i exited the game to check something and it turned on, before i realized wot was happening 1.2 is patched. Now 4A, 4B, 3.. CTD.

im SO pissed right now.

Im using the original steam exe with 4a. It kept CTD when going outdoors, so after reading through these posts I also tried the 4gb fix with 4a.

Now its working for hours without a single crash, 5790x1080.
