I bought 2 mini DP ->DVI active adapters only to have one fail after about 10 minutes. I was then fortunate to find mini dp to dp cables (no adapter, just a cable with mini dp at one end and dp at the other). Definitely the best solution as far as I am concerned, so worth hunting around for. That w...

You need at least one display to be connected via a Mini-DP port. You will need an active mini-DP to VGA adaptor. Good to know. I'm noticing that most of these active adapters are $20 bucks or more. I'm assuming the safe bet is to get one that AMD lists on its dongle support page. Something I notic...

In my experience, though, it's never texture quality that really drives the framerate down, at least not with all the single-screen gaming I've done thus far. Usually it's stuff like AA and DX10 and 11 effects that really do it.

Hey guys. I'm building a new gaming machine (donating the old rig to my wife so we can play SWTOR together), but I'm stumped as to what to get for GPUs. I had originally intended to get two 560 TIs to drive a single 27" display, but I'm now realizing that I can get three 22" monitors for practically...
