SKyrim Legendary edition not working! Hi helifax thx for your work which seems to be only solution to incorrect UI issue with Skyrim playing on 5760x1080 since the other one " flawless widescreen " does not support 1.9.32.0.8 version. I am using the offical final version of the SKyrim soc...

Does anyone know if Dawngaurd breaks these fixes? I am assuming it would. I haven't been able to play Skyrim for a while but I was thinking about downloading it and trying it out.

Thanks,

Exo

[quote] Sounds like a job for you :) You realize anyone can update it? (well assuming you have a few posts) Nope, didn't realize that. I was under the assumption that only Mods and Editors can edit official news releases, WSGF detailed game reports, and other official content. Remember seeing quite...

I've noticed when using console commands that I can't click on an NPC to have targeted commands affect them. It will give a RefID when I do, but it doesn't seem to be the right one. Example would be if you want to get rid of Aella's or Faendal's default bow that they are using over one you give the...

I highly doubt it;)) Read-only is to prevent writing inside the file not changing the file alltogheter (at least on Windows)... Thanks Helifax. I'm trying to help someone with their computer and they wanted to avoid the update from steam when we bring it back online and I had seen this mentioned be...

Does anyone know if changing the executable to read only solves the issue of steam updating to a new version?

This may seem like a stupid question to some, but what is the main difference between Helifax and Haydens Skyrim fix. Personally I like Helifax's fix with Widescreen fixer. It works pretty well although there are a couple of minor bugs. Plus it's in Widescreen fixer so it's just one app for me to u...

[quote]Before I ask what I'm going to ask, I'd like to say that even though I doubt I'll be utilizing your fix, I really appreciate all the prompt attention and labor by Helifax and others to get this working. Skyrim is in the 1.5 range now. Hayden's last solution is in the 1.3 range. I've tried He...

Can't wait Hayden! I just beat the mass effect series in 1920-1080. Gunna have to give it a multi monitor play through once you release your program. Can't wait, keep up the good work :D This isn't a thread on ME3 so I won't get carried away but why didn't you use Helifax's plugin with wide screen ...

[quote]Helifax/dopefish, Can I put in a request to have a greater range for the fix activation timeout? 7s is still activating the widescreen fix too early for me about 50% of the time.... Other than the HUD moving to the left monitor when exiting from the map (known issue I know), it's perfect! Th...

I can always extend the slider and add more time. I thought 7 would be enough but I can't predict everyone's system. This solution is only meant to be temporary until either of us can figure out a solid way of enabling it. Yeah I would have thought 7 seconds would have been enough for most programs...

With the latest versions of Widescreen Fixer, when enabled it does not show as an application. It appears as a process but I cannot get the GUI for configuring. Any help? I am assuming you are downloading WSF version r395 from www.widescreenfixer.org? So when you unpack it to a directory and run wi...

TESV is fully loaded... now in CT you have a small 2 options: Writable and Executable. Not all of the memory regions are marked as writable (some are Read-Only). The same for Executable. You should enable in CT the correct option when you do a search to see all the memory regions that are allocated ...

The fix is working great for me, takes care of all the issues I have with the game on a multi-mon setup. I am seeing a weird issue that I think is separate from the fix or anything and it has to do with really bad screen clipping or bleeding on the sides of the screen when I am up against walls or ...

[quote]When TestV is run, is it fully loaded into memory, or are parts of it swapped in and out of memory? The app or the app and all of its data? The data is swapped in and out as needed, otherwise you'd see TESV occupying the same amount of memory as the data folder which is way more then the 32b...
