Even at x4, you are still going to get decent FPS. Modern day GPU's can function properly on anything, even down to x1. Glad you got it working. I thought, after our little troubleshooting session last night, that a re-install was going to be needed. My guess is that some information was cached and needed to be removed, maybe a reg entry.
