You won't be disappointed. I had to get my Ergotech delivered to EU. Had it for 6 months now, and here's what I've got to say about it: Best freakin' decision you can make for a triple. I mean, really- I spent 600 USD per monitor, why skimp on the stand? The Ergotech is a fantastically solid piece o...

I understand the flaw with open source is quality control... Thanks to all for continuing to support wide-screen patches. Personally, I don't like the idea of running an executable called "Cheat Engine" while running Steam... which is why I haven't played Skyrim in over a month (sorry Helifax) ...it...

How hard is the hit to VRAM with the new texture pack in triple-wide compared to the original textures?

Same here, have taken a break and playing other games that support triples ever since the latest breakage. Interested in trying the texture pak and hoping it doesn't blow my VRAM ceiling!

The 290.53 Nvidia beta driver is out, and heavily optimized for Skyrim: official site

Edit: And they fixed the panel resolution timing bug that was fawking up on my 10-bit monitors, making the prior beta unusable... YAY! Ambient occlusion for me finally!

@thales100 set AA to 2x problem solved immediately... brilliant!!! Thank you.... so i guess over AA is the cause of the problem? The cause of the problem is your 560 cards don't have the VRAM to handle AA in surround. 1GB just isn't enough for AA. Not a problem, just set your driver to 16x AI and F...

Phwew! I am glad I checked WSGF before Steam had a chance to do it's dirty little update. I quit Steam, and have been playing offline. Tonight was my night to play for the week, and I sure am happy I didn't get Bethesda'd cheated out of some much-needed relaxation time in Skyrim!

Just a status update on my end: With Hayden's 0.7 and v1.2 skyrim using the 1.4 version of the LAA patch, running 285.79 beta drivers, I'm enjoying a smooth game. I removed all mods (just the face fix package and glowing ore), performed a Steam cache validation and just let it repair itself, then ap...

[quote]nvidia driver 290.36 beta - broke the game for me. I'm using Hayden's 0.3 patch (like it the best), but it is unlikely the patch has anything to do with it. Also using 4GB, this combo has been working great all week. Updated to the new driver beta today, now the game crawls down to 5 fps and...

hmm, I have a hard time editing posts on this board. Oh well, a drop in the bucket in this thread. In Windows desktop, my monitors are being randomly cheddar'd with resolution scaling issues, obviously the driver since nothing else changed. Uninstalled, reverting to 285.79. *Edit* Everything is work...

No prob Cinnabuns. I haven't seen any improvement with Skyrim, nor did it hurt anything either so that's good. I haven't tried BF3 because there are just a ton of problems with it and I haven't looked at it since Skyrim came out  . I did try Batman Arkham City, now if anyone was hoping it...

Well, this is just ducky. Bethesda doesn't want us to break the game with our workarounds, so they lock down the executable. I guess they realize that they're doing enough to break the game on their own, and don't need our help. I'm on the negative since this LAA thing, because every CTD potentially...

Does this patch work with the new exe? It was supposed to allow more memory to be used. http://www.skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=134 Seems so involved for a LAA patch... any which way you apply it, it should be changing the same flag, so I don't think it is the tool used. The LAA patched ne...

Yep, I'm in the same boat. Now I'm CTD all over again, and not loving it. I hate having to re-do crap because I haven't hit F5 every ten seconds. I want my LAA patch back! Oh, and my junk is not set to auto-update, but in the time between firing up my PC and reading a few posts here, I checked my .e...
