If anyone is still reading this thread, can anyone provide me what their performance numbers are like (FPS) at full widescreen resolution?
Even without mods I seem to be getting 20-25fps max around Whiterun on my 5870 1GB at 5760x1080. Single monitor I'm in the mid 50's to 60(cap).

HaYDeN,

The fix works brilliantly, now I just need to update my video card from my archaic single 5870 1GB so I can actually play at greater than 30fps. Thanks again!

I highly doubt it;)) Read-only is to prevent writing inside the file not changing the file alltogheter (at least on Windows)...

I actually have my TESV.exe set to read only and steam has honored it... same with my skyrim.ini and skyrimprefs.ini.

I made a backup copy anyway just in case ...

It went live, then they rolled it back, then it went live again... honestly not sure what Bethesda is doing right now... for now I just set my executable to read only and have an old copy I'm going to use.

Crap, I just saw Skyrim do another update... and now all my mods aren't working anymore. Once I sort the mods out I'll see if the fixer still works.

No surprise they ignored my post... however the 680's look pretty good. Wonder how long until the top end cards come out GK110(780?).... I find it interesting they called this the 680 instead of a smaller designator.

Only problems I have with the

Only problems I have with the new fixes are known issues (sometimes I have to double tap tab to fix alignment of crosshair after reading books... etc) but other than that its working great. Thanks for fixing what a bunch of suits(Bethesda) can't.
