if you want to go all out why not get 3x HP ZR30W. that will give you a total resolution of 7680x1600

i used to play on a 1920x1200 resolution and now that i made the step towards a 2560x1600 monitor i regret that i didnt do this earlier.

imo order the HP ZR30W and decide what you think of ...

i would go with the green camp.. however the 680 will have a 4gb edition aswell.. so maybe wait for that?

in potrait i suppose? cause landscape would be insane with 5x "30"

might aswell go with 2x "30" and add a third one later

If nothing happens in 30 days. Order another one just to test if you get 2 again :D Then sell the 4th on Ebay and you got 3 for the price of one!


If you wanna test out how much Vram that high of Resolution would use you could try "Downsampling ...

dell u2412m = 16:10 and ips

if i was you i would save some more cash and get some better monitors instead.

if you regret it later on that you bought cheaper tn panels it will even be more expensive in the end.

so my opinion.. wait a few more weeks/months and get yourself the u2410m ...

For productivity any multi-monitor system (whether its capable of a single desktop or not) is a massive benefit, before I had an triple-monitor gaming system I had 3 monitors, one 20'' 16:10 plus two 15'' 4:3.

In terms of power required, you would be looking at a pair of 580 or more ...

There is really no right answer, its all about your preference, 30'' monitors have a higher resolution so they show a better image but the same aspect ratio as a smaller 16:9 or 16:10, so its just a bigger screen with more pixels. Triple monitor setups cost about the same as a 30'' monitor, but ...

I have 3 Dell U2410s and have no problems at all. I love the displays all the way around.

have you ever tried playing fast shooters on these screens? unreal tournament 3 for example
how are the monitors doing in these games.

and how are your overal thoughts about these monitors. i know ...

will i notice any ghosting or what so ever?
