I should have noted..

1. My PC is watercooled, the loop is dry currently. So, it's not a matter of just installing/un-installing cards in PCI-E slots and try out performance, I wish that was the case. If I decide to setup eyefinity with the 2XHD5870 ...

oh man! thanks for the heads up. I only saw few Rocksmith trailers few months ago. I went to check recent news about the game and found this video:

I've been playing guitar (real ones :)) for about 10 years. I also hope Rocksmith is going to work well using real guitars. I have Guitar Hero on PS3 but I only play it on drums, I hated playing guitars with buttons and this Rocksmith idea sounds like a good one.
