I'm looking into a stand too, and I have a question about the Planar one:
I read that it supports 90 degree rotation for portrait mode. How does this work? Can you just grab the monitors and rotate them without taking them off, or does it involve mounting them at 90 degree?

Ugh. I'm really disappointed that it doesn't work properly with Nvidia Surround. In Nvidia Surround, I'm also having an issue where the visible mouse cursor is left of where the actual mouse is, which makes hacking difficult.
