| Are you sure you haven't accidentaly pulled some other power cable from a vital component? CPU, MB If it was a frequency issue it would still boot to BIOS and only when the drivers are loaded it would get problems. I really don't like giving pros advice but sometimes we overlook the simplest of thin... |

| For some reason, I had to launch it with "-width 5040 -height 1050" to get it to run in surround. Else, it would start showing the Valve logo, and my computer would instantly lock-up, requiring a hard reboot. Tried it on regular 1920x1200 and it worked fine, back to 5040x1050 = total crash. | I have been using SLI hack for almost a year now. Yeah there has been some issues especially after Nvidia put a timebomb in their drivers - causing black screen after 3-5 minutes after a game was launched, drivers has stopped responding and had to be reset error (malware anyone?). | Some games install user files under Documents either with the game's own name or the publisher/dev names. Also I got a couple that has folders in My Games folder also under Documents. Maybe the file is hidden and not showing when searched for? I don't know the details for this, so would need confirm... |

| Hey, I don't know if this would help you as I am using Nvidia. Portal 2 wouldn't start when launching from 5910x1080@60Hz (1920x3 w bezel correction) for me. | I believe it's not feasible to have BR yet. The cost of a BR-drive is still too much for many. Add the need to support 2 different media for the same platform (DVD and BR), as you would still need DVD to reach the mass population. Also, how many games need more than two dual layer DVDs? Age of Conan... |

| It is indeed an nVidia only issue. Further, it's a Surround only issue, as it doesn't happen in extended mode. So, that's why there isn't much info about this around... I thought it was a problem on MS side when using surround setups in general, thank you for the clarification. And yes, no problems... |

| Similar to my post on the official Nvidia 3d Vision Surround forums. Will it help anyone, I have no idea. Definitely not a restriction of the OS anyway. You have to unlock the taskbar and move it to a vertical position. A bit smaller than the regular you get from horizontal taskbar but still working... |
