just make a newwexe with AoE2Wide for the resoulution and start AoC1.0c 1900x1080.exe

Hm... well it works for me. And I can play online with GameRanger (:
I downloaded and used a nocdcrack (for 1.0c) from here:

It works both on my laptop (with 1280 x 800) and my pc (1360 x 768).
Without any color bug on Win7 32bit.

I have errors in the cmd window as well but it creates a bat file on my desktop and it works...

I downloaded your new version and I haven't modified the config.xml
couse im not sure whitch line is it. There are a lot wndmode.dll but I think its on 1.

I tried to launch aoc.exe from the Widescreen+Veg folder but it failed.
He cant initialize the graphical system and my windows7 32bit ...

Try to press ctrl alt del while ingame and stop the explorer.exe task.
After if u want to use ur windows u hawe to manualy start explorer.exe again in taskmanager "applications" tab and tipeing explorer.exe in new process.

What's the complaint exactly? Don't look at the 'text' of the resolutions; AoE2Wide will use 1024x768 as 'source' resolution for yours, and will therefore disable anything higher than that (for technical reasons). So no, it won't get better... until you buy an even better monitor, that is ...
