No one is offering up an alternative to EA and no one is taking a stand that has any meaning behind it.. so until you get a larger buying block together that can damage the 500+mil /yr profit of EA they are going to continue on down the line. If you or anyone you know has a viable solution then by ...

Ok, everyone is entitled to an opinion.. but seriously, you need to stop playing games for big boys and then complain about how bad they suck, go back to playing MW2 or whatever it is you numb skulls play... reality is, your too immature and obviously not well read enough to 'get' the fact that ...

picking up where this has left off
Since Geko hasn't been here in 2 months I will assume his enthusiasm has waned. However his original post got me thinking: I'm on med leave from the military right now and may not be going back, I've been developing an idea for a PC only game using DX11 UDK3, min specs I'm looking at is HD5870, quad ...

This doesn't mean that once you and millions of others are buried in the online play that EA won't slip revisions into the EULA, a small update screen blinking in and out like so many companies use and you'll never know, or most won't..

I think this is less about the card option; obviously you get the best cards you can buy which is the HD6990 ( however there is a new card due out shortly which tops that. ), and more about the visualization layout. 3 projectors set-up for a min of 1080P arranged for at least a 20 degree FOV. and ...

Mass Effect 2 High Res textures
Not sure if anyone has posted this but this mod is amazing, it really changes the quality of submersion into the world. given the tex mod insertion SW it should be fairly easy to update more then just what this industrious Frenchman has done. A word of caution, this is NOT a fast start up, on my ...

from just a pure RPG game play I prefer Torchlight, I've played the main game a few times over but the real fun ins in the community made products. complete overhauls of the game make it virtually new in every way.

mw2 is a perfect example of .ini and .cfg mods that get the user banned. if you head over to mpgh.com you can read about the efforts made TO get past it..

I've decided to jump the que on the latests batch of updates, this particular update set is of some interest as it is, in order of appearance for download:
patch 1.9
1.6gig high resolution upgrade texture pack
DX11 update patch ( to be used only with the above two patches )

ini screen resolution tweeks would be an unfair advantage over single monitor players so they see that as a cheat. So do most 'official' online servers.

still there but it's much less apparent now. still has the visual effect of creating heat shimmer if not the graphical effect of darkening the area.. and for some reason ...

crysis 2 v.1.8 catalyst 11.6 driver: issue
anyone notice that on the extreme setting ( or otherwise), you get the particle generator mesh showing up as a shaded transparent black zone? I can't tell if it's the 1.8 patch or the 11.6 release of the drivers.. hopefully with the 1.9 and DX11 patch out tomorrow I can find out if it's actually the ...

Re: DIRT 3
you can tell this was developed for a console first, like 99% of games now, and just like the others, they screwed over the PC guys by not doing a few simple fixes that would allow for oh say using the keyboard/mouse combo to navigate and then using the pad to play the game.. seriously even the NFS ...

Re: BSOD/ Dungeon Seige III
Ok, so the new 11.6 RC2 w/latest CAP solved the problem.
Even at that, the game is a mess, why would a company go and mangle an interface and control system that was perfect as it was? Someone felt their job was on the lie and talked someone else into allow for an 'upgrade' in user interface ...
