The posted solution (m) doesn't work. It crashes when you run the below commandline:

I can't seem to use a widescreen resolution with this game ...

I noticed that if you apply all of the files from JackFuste's solution on XP or XP 64 and then delete "D3DIM700.DLL", everything works perfectly. I still am able to play the game in Widescreen on XP and everything looks good, but "D3DIM700.DLL" must be deleted on XP / XP x64.

Not sure what this ...

I noticed Jack's fix doesn't work on XP? It works great in Windows 7 on up from my testing. Any chance for an XP / Vista version? My guess is your fix uses DX10? No DX9 support?

I get this error on XP:

"NOLF Error: Couldn't set D3D Emulation mode. Shutting down NOLF..."

Works great, but I have noticed that it defaults to 1360 x 768 every time the game is launched. Why does it do this? You have to reset the resolution each time. Aside from that, it's awesome, and I've been playing this game on a regular basis again! :)

Fast Food Tycoon 2 produced by Software2000 is actually quite fun. Don't let the title fool you. It's got a lot of strategy in it, and you can send out the gangsters on your competition. It was released in 2001

Is there any way I can get this game to work in a resolution of 1920 x 1200?

I tried ureschanger2, and it does set the resolution to 1920 x 1200, but the game is still running in a 4:3 environment at 1280 x 1024 with the additional screen being black.
