Yeah, it's weird that this same wrong EDID seems to pop up on different Samsung monitors - maybe they pay a guy at the factory to drop one wrong chip in every production run :)

The Samsung monitor drivers for my screen do seem to add a line for the correct native resolution to the Windows ...

which might work.

I'd suggest loading it in Phoenix EDID Designer and checking that the details it shows match what the manual says your monitor is capable of.

Make sure you've exhausted ...
