| I wouldn't invest at Socket 1156 at all, it's a dead platform. Intel is dropping its sockets faster than I with an ovenheated plate. If you want to game, I'd go for AM3. It's not as fast as Intel but it's a more durable socket and cheaper as well. Then when next platforms come out, go to that upgrad... |

| Agreed with above. For 6990 you can count on something like 2x 6970 on 6950 clocks to stay within 300W TDP range. |

| I'd like to take this one to a serious level. I think AMD's (yeah, quick change of my naming habits after the ATi logo was dropped recently) approach is a very smart one. It offers you the opportunities to tie several screens together with only few cables, using only one card for widescreen footage.... |
