Bad Company 2 Performance
In recent months, my Bad Company 2 performance seems worse. For several moments after loading a map, my game is intensely laggy until I've looked in all directions. I guess this is some latent texture loading issue? I'm quite certain I never had this issue say last year, at least not the current ...

Re: should i upgrade to 2gb graphics card for eyefinity
While any upgrade would be nice, I bet your current card can handle it just fine depending on what you play. My lowly 5770 handles 3 19" monitors at stock surprisingly well (BC2 and source games mostly). I'm curious how much a difference 2GB makes though (more for your setup than mine of course ...

Re: Eyefinity Issue and Questions
I can't seem to get bezel compensation to work. I have 3 identical monitors and it does indeed let me configure the bezel compensation, but afterward (right after I click the checkmark button in bezel compensation thing) it reverts to a single display with the other disabled (and also at a really ...
Re: Hallo
Thanks. I just received my DP->VGA adapter today, and my experiences so far have been pretty amazing. It's kind of disorienting at first.

As for improvements? More HDD platters on the wall? :mrgreen:Nice. I'm not running stock volts sadly, but there's room for me to raise them more. Having this processor has really inspired me as far as how I build computers. I'm going to ...

Hallo
Hello. I go by "Stolid" in games and on forums and such. I used to have a single 24" and a 20" secondary (sadly at the now non-ubiquitous resolution of 1400x1050), but I dumped it (given to a relative) for a 3x19" Christmas present setup. Still waiting on the displayport adapter sadly.

Re: Eyefinity Issue and Questions
I tried the active displayport adapter and then a dvi-vga adapter, and the combination wouldn't work. The monitor doesn't see a signal at all and CCC doesn't see the monitor. I just ordered a displayport to vga adapter which will hopefully work. :?

Eyefinity Issue and Questions
I hope this isn't a question overload, but I'll ask all 3 here:
1. I can't seem to get bezel compensation to work. I have 3 identical monitors and it does indeed let me configure the bezel compensation, but afterward (right after I click the checkmark button in bezel compensation thing) it ...

It's a tough call. Do you want bezel compensation?...The monitors will need to be the same for that. :?

Re: Active DVI > DP Adaptor - Testing A Solution For Flickering
I ordered a saphire active DP adapter. Will it still work fine if I use a DVI to VGA adapter on top of it as well?

Re: Is 3x19" worth it?
Thanks for your input, everyone. If anyone is curious, I ended up ordering 3 19" Acer monitors (each 1440x900). I'll make a post about my setup and performance with my lowly 5770 when I get them.

Re: Is 3x19" worth it?
maybe you could keep the 24" and flip 2 x 19" (16:9/16:10) wide srceen monitors 90 degrees so they are in portriat or maybe it would work better with 2 x 18" monitors or maybe even get 2 x 19" monitors at 4:3 (non wide screen) then you dont have to flip them then. Just a though :)

Re: Is 3x19" worth it?
I prefer buying off newegg, but what about these (20" Acer G205HV)? They're scary cheap. Any big cons? I don't really have the budget (and perhaps the desk space) for 3 1080p displays.

Re: Merry HIS-mas: Win an HIS Radeon HD 6870 Turbo Eyefinity4
Some eyefinity setups are absolutely amazing.
How people can afford these monitors with thin bezels and in such high quantities is beyond me. I'm looking at 3x19" in the near future. I wish I could afford 3x24". Then again with bigger monitors, my HD5770 wouldn't be any good. :?

Is 3x19" worth it?
I currently have a 24" monitor. I'd like to get eyefinity, but getting 2 more 24" monitors is rather expensive. Would trading the 24" for a 3x19" setup (I'd only have to purchase 2 as a family member has one) be worth it in your opinion?
