When I first started using my triple monitor computer, I was getting "eye strain". Like most everything else, you need to ease into it. Over about a two week period, I played for an hour or so at a time, or at least until the eye strain started. I'd shut the computer down, and go do something else. ...

HP ZR24w

Left and right bezels are 17mm.

There's a 2-3mm beveled edge rising from the screen's surface that I'm accounting for also.

The top and bottom bezels are 17mm also.

Added info: Dull black finish.

I would think trying to list all of the gpu's and everything would make for a very large, and intimidating "outline". I guess I was thinking as simple as: CPU - Any Motherboard supporting the CPU you're going with, and can handle two GPUs, preferably 2@ x16, or (worse case?) 1 @ x16, 1@ x8. Ram - Su...

I notice a lot of times when people are having issues, it ends up being - for instance - GPU's with not enough VRam. This time last year, I myself knew nothing about multi-monitor set-ups. I stumbled upon a link to the Matrox TripleHead2Go, which eventually lead me to this site. After looking throug...

I've bounced from 3x1 Landscape and 3x1 Portrait. I have likes and dislikes about both set-ups. I will say it is dependent on the game I happen to be playing. If I watch a movie on it in Landscape, the two outside monitors don't really show anything, as the movie fills the center monitor. In Portrai...

Great job and thanks to Helifax and Hayden. Compelled me to post here just to say that! BTW, I am currently using Helifax's trainer for 5760...it works great, save for the switching back and forth between modes for maps, etc. but that is a trifle. However, I remember reading Hayden's post stating t...

I'm running two GTX 570's in SLI @ 5760x1200 and getting the same amount of. I probably should be getting higher FPS than that shouldn't I? How much ram do those 570's have? 1.25gb or 2.5gb? Afterburner was putting my cards at 1.66gb usage. I'm wondering if you may be pushing it to your limit and m...

Is it possible that some of the crashes could be caused by running out of Vram? While I was in the game (and barely out of the starting area) with 6050x1200 on default "High" settings, MSI Afterburner was showing 1660mb of memory usage on each of my 3gbs 580's. Someone posted a couple pages back tha...

Oh this is funny. Their fix to the sound crackling and faint NPC voices: 1. Go to Start -> Control Panel -> Sound 2. In the Playback tab, right click on Speakers (or whatever has a green tick next to it), then click Properties 3. In the advanced tab on this new window, select 24 bit, 44100Hz (Studio...

There are still problems with the zoomed things for inventory items, lockpiking and other stuff.

No need to reply, when I read this the following popped into my head:

Does "other stuff" include the zoom-in ability of bows, or is that something else entirely?

I initially was set up in 3x1 Portrait (3890x1920). The menus were mostly viewable. The biggest problem is that the commands themselves, after hitting "Tab" (Controls, Help, Exit, etc) are behind the bezels. Some of the buttons "enter, exit, equip" at the bottom of the inventory screen were half-cut...

I've been in every Beta since the first one. Fps has been an issue from the start. The first couple of betas the fps sucked, but as each beta came and went, the fps increased. Back then, it wasn't optimized for multi-cores either. That has since been corrected. It is improving, we just don't know if...

Forgot to ask, are the bezels flat black or a glossy black?

In other pictures they seemed to be flat black. I would think being flat black they wouldn't be as noticeable in triple monitor set-ups where glossy black might have some reflections/flares.

Thanks for the reply.

How do you like the monitors?

I'm debating on those or the Dell U2410's for my upcoming build.

It looks like you can pre-order the Palit GTX 580 3gb from Amazon.com for $628.32 (list says $638).

No release date listed, at the moment.

Due out soon, next week I hope, is Palit's GTX 580 with 3gb. Price is unknown at the moment. Another option, anyways. The ATI driver issues and stutter/flickering is keeping me away from ATI, as well. It almost seems to be a hit or miss situation. With that, I'll opt for the 100% chance of not deali...

Interested in seeing benchmarks tho.

I had seen the Dual-GPU cards. Somewhere I had seen a review (review or comparison) where they compared it with 2 individual cards of the same type. If I recall, the Dual-GPU card suffered from what they considered as bottlenecking - all of that info pouring through one lane, instead of two lanes fr...

I plan to have a new computer built in a couple months or so (end of Feb, early Mar). I'm going with three monitors and currently planning to ultimately end up with 3 SLI. I say ultimately as I will only purchase 2 580's (or better) at the start and later on will get the third. I will however, purch...
