We will do everything we can to enable support of ultra wide screens, it's "partially" working atm.

I hope it's that easy as you say :) We still didn't have proper time to adress this issue as we are workin on hundred other things that are more critical at this point.

The in-house alpha testing of the multiplayer portion of The Red Solstice is on the way.

I will see what i can do and bring back news, just for the sake of it i tested 1980x540 and it worked nicely :)

I have asked about this and i have been informed that everything has been done correctly, but we don't have resources to test that atm.
By resources i mean aditional LCDs:)

Playing Red Solstice with ultrawide screens would be much more enjoyment just because it would be smoother to play, no it wouldn't be cheating, it would be just more fun :)

I said we haven't planned any support for it because i don't wanna promise something i am not 100% sure we will implement ...

No :) We have developed our own engine based on OpenGL for The Red Solstice, this will enable us to port to various platforms.
