Cheers

I am playing on full screen windowed and have 95 - 99 % gpu use on all three cards. I have the FPS limited to 58 using NV inspector. I would prefer to have proper full screen but at least it is working atm. Hopefully we will find a way to get proper 3 screen support in the near future.

In the nvidia control panel go to desktop at the top and untick the centre desktop (I think it is called that am at work so cant remember) Then just use the auto hide task bar option in the task bar. Sadly it is the only way to get rid of the task bar. The way nvidia have forced the task bar to the ...

Yeah but the last thing they need is 100 posts a day saying 'when is the patch coming', 'OMG the patch is late', 'This game sucks I'm off to play COD' blah blah. Then of course there would be 100 posts and polls on how bad the performance will be after patch etc. They made the mistake before of post...

I have been using this build/exe since end of november. I can confirm it does indeed solve the CTD issues. The problem is caused by a frame buffer size problem. I still get the odd end of round crash but anyone can get that. Server side problem. Again I am able to play at 6050x1080 4 x AA 16 x AF wi...

Thanks for the nice review. There is not may reviews that have gotten multi screen up yet. There was one other that had xfire 6990's and 3 x 30" and a few others at eyefinity and 1 6990. One thing you really really really need to oc your cpu. A basic example on my system with bc2. At stock 2.66 i ge...

Sadly it is also a 2.5 slot cooler. Lots of thought went into that one. Lets make a GFX card that will be best used in sli for triple screen but make it not fit lots of the motherboards out there. Yes I could use slot 1 and 3 but that then get in the way of other things. Looks like I will need to wa...

[quote]I am only on sli until the drivers sort out tri surround. 3 way SLI runs great on surround, just some few games like BFBC2 dont like it, check the first page of this thread, ive added some CPU usage pics of MSI Afterburner running 3 x GTX 480. This is a silly question (I know honest question...

[quote]Thanks, thats good enough for me... i'm sold :rockout Haha cool :cheers Again the noise with a custom profile is more noticeable than the heat. In saying that I have noticed my computer room is warmer than it was with my 5970! I am also using a new case so it could be a combination of better...

Are you guys doing BFBC2 in single player? I just returned my 5970 and replaced with 2 480s, I can now run BC2 at High (med effects and HBAO Off) and 4AA and only in a *LOT* of action/smoke/effects do I see it go down to the mid 50s, even then it's not noticeable unless I look at my fraps display. ...

Thanks for the reply. That is not really what I wanted to hear sadly. I am now thinking just send the 470's back and get 2 480's and pick up the third when/ if they fix the drivers. I am getting similar frame rates as thales with my 5970 @6040 x 1080 but at 2 x AA and no hbao. So I can assume I woul...

Hi thales, Interesting to hear your experiences with tri-sli surround. I am looking at getting either the same setup (I already have eyefinity with a 5970) or 3 x 470 as I would not need a new power supply. What type of FPS are you getting with BC2 and could you let me know what type of difference w...
