ok, i just found that 3072x768 has become available for my 3x 1024x768 displays... i think that the catalyst 10.8 drivers mustve done it

for me i am able to use my computer without the blinking most of the time, the signal problems are the exception rather than the rule
but yes i'd rather them not happen at all

isnt it just plain statistics that the chances of you seeing the blinking on any of your monitors is proportional to ...

i convert the dp to dvi using either the passive or active adapters, then use something called HDFury to go from DVI to VGA ... it comes with the shortest VGA cable i've ever seen in my life, and thats why its image is just about as sharp as a DVI image, only some of the colours are abit changed ...

okay im glad to hear that this is some kind of driver problem, not some hardware fault on my end

anyway, i have 1 dvi 1080p monitor , 1 dvi 1024x768 projector and 2 1024x768 vga projectors... all of them connected via bizlink active adapters, and the vga projectors use the HDFury digital-analog ...

i am using my 5870 eyefinity6 with a bunch of video digital to analog converters which have their own EDID, with a maximum of 1080p at 60hz
the problem obviously is that i have to manually select the correct resolution for the actual displays i am using.... in this case, they are 1024x768 ...

have they enabled more eyefinity resolutions yet?

okay, first off hello everyone

i have a 5870 eyefinity6 in a matx-sized computer, the idea being that i could bring it to friends houses and hook as many monitors as they have up to my computer
naturally this involves alot of plugging and unplugging of different monitors...
