Hi Guys ,
I was with a 5870 CF setup on Eyefinity up untill not long ago ,
My parents went abroad and got me 2 new 6950.
Ofc i had to hack them to 6970 and they work wonderfully

Upon Connecting , Ive seen (they had to do it) that there is no DP , but Mini DP now (OMG..WTF?)
up untill ...

what was the resolution that you setup for the vga?


all screens are on 1680x1050 - so i think 5040x1050 or somthing :)
at first i had tons of problems with the VGA - i could only go native 1600x1200 but it turned out to be the cable - for some reason i couldnt force it!

but now all ...

Just Connected 3 Screens
2 X DVI
1 X VGA -DP

Success! :)

i wouldn't say 100% sure - since i didn't try it yet - but as everyone here is doing - first at least try to buy a vga->dp - if it doesnt work - no biggie - you wasted 10-15$...much better then shelling out 100$ for an active dvi->dp or 200$ for a new ...

I Want to use eyefinity for triple screen gaming :)
i already have 1 extended desktop my 2nd monitor (3rd monitor just wont do)

Ive recently got a DP->DVI Cable (didn't find much info regarding active/passive dp before that..)

got 3 monitors
1 Zalman 22"
2 x Samsung 22"

2 Monitors Currently connected with DVI
when i connect 3rd Monitor to DP->DVI ...
