Hi,
Undoubtedly you've all heard of the hybrid solution with nVidia's PhysX in an ATI eyefinity environment.
Now i've had that working on a 6 screen hd5870 EF6 card paired with a 8800 GTX, the next challenge is to trick the drivers to think i hooked a 3D screen (or 3, or 6) to an Nvidia card ...

I would like to report that, apart from wacky ATI issues with the Eyefinity setup, i have had no problems whatsoever with my DP-VGA converters, there was one instance of a black screen but that was me being a dumbass and accidentally pulling one of the DP connectors out ;)

Crossfiring a normal 5870 with an EF one actually cuts the ram in half :)

I don't think thats the picture you wanted to use. If I remove the 9. I get a picture not related to this.
DP -> VGA adapters are active, not passive and they should work. Use one of the confirmed ones in this thread to make sure that the ones you are ordering works. :)

I'm looking to successfully make a 6 screen build and didn't realize before that you could only connect 2x dvi and have to convert the rest ...
