Lucid Hydra is like Crossfire or SLI, not like Eyefinity or Surround. It's many GPUs for one display, not many GPUs for many displays.


Oh, wow, I really should have put that together a while ago. I remember the whole Hydra motherboard deal a while back. So I'm guessing it's the same thing?

First off, I'm very sorry if this is not in the correct section. I was really unsure as to where to put this. Anyhow, I'm very curious about this Lucid Hydralogix that I've seen floating around. Can someone put it into simple terms for me? Do I /need/ a board that has it enabled, or is there some so...

Why not just get two 24"s and not 23"s to eliminate resolution stretching on your middle screen? Also, matching the colors will be very difficult when using different monitors.

He probably already had these or acquired them from people he knew for free or a low price. That's how I got mine :wink:

This is not exactly what you're asking for, but a simple workaround would be to run the game windowed at a "fake" triple-screen resolution, then move the window to the right... :hide that's exactly what I want to do, but I couldn't figure out how to do it in l4d or battlefield bad company 2 as for ...
