I bought a dynex 32" LCD TV which is 720p. I can play games at 720p no problems using the DVI -> HDMI cable. I just bought a triplehead2go digital edition and the dynex doesn't detect any signal from the triple. All my other monitors detect it just fine, I've tried a Dell 23" with HDMI and DVI, both...
