Has anyone hear had success running Tribes Ascend in Eyefinity 5x1 Portrait. I tried downloading Flawless Widescreen, but it crashes almost immediately and Widescreen Fixer doesn't support tribes yet. Any suggestions?

have you had any luck with a 5x1 portrait setup. I can't get flawless to load at all. Immediate crash at launch

and one more update. It was the HDMI -> DVI-D adapter that had gone bad. Slapped on a straight DVI - DVI cable and all is good. Hope this helps some of you guys.

ok guys got it going here. I didn't write down notes so I'm going to do the best I can. I uninstalled all drivers, ran driversweep in safe mode and reinstalled the 11.1. Uninstalled all monitor drivers and loaded generic PnP drivers. Went into CCC and disabled all extended,duplicate, and groups ...

I'll try again. I had been uninstalling through the software manager and then using driver sweeper in safe mode, but I haven't done any separate registry cleaners. I'll keep checking.

After crashing with the 11.1's I decided to go back to the 10.12a hotfix drivers. now I can no longer setup all 3 monitors. Have 3 HP lp2465s, and can still setup eyefinity across any two monitors, but can't enable the third. If I try to setup a group with all 3 monitors, the CCC comes to a complete ...

Did anyone hear anything about the 6990? I skimmed most of the major CES sites and didn't see a mention of anything.

You're quite right Abram; I've got 3 x 24" HP LP2465 and in landscape you can do a little bit of monitor adjustment, but the arms are just too long for portrait mode, unless you cut them down a substantial amount. The manufacturer maybe should think about their claimed supported widths.

I've got that stand and I give it a solid C+. In landscape it works just fine, but if you go to portrait mode there is about a 2" gap between the bezels. I had to pull out the arms and hack saw about 6 " off to give me the flexibility to clase the gaps. Also, I was bummed I couldn't rotate the ...

no with the drivers, I always uninstall and then hit the leftovers with driversweeper in safe mode. I 'm just talking about the application profiles. The little 250KB updates they do like every 2 weeks or so.

PLease don't make fun of me for this, but when AMD comes out with new set of Application profiles for CCC do I need to uninstall my old ones, or they built up in a cumulative fashion where I can just keep installing them?

amazingly, the 10.12 hotfix for 5x1 portrait works great. I still get lousy playback of videos in game (the opening video for l4d2 for example), but overall I get much smoother performance than even in 10.10. Hope you have better luck like I did.

you actually answered my question in a round about way. I just wanted to confirm that as long as I drop my 1920x1200 screens to 1920x1080 they would all play nicely. Thanks for your help.

Is it possible to set 3 of my monitors to 1920x1080 (usually 1920x1200) and set up the remaining 2 monitors also to 1920x1080 and have an appropriate single large surface? the reason I ask is because its getting harder and harder to find 1920x1200 monitors for a reasonable price.

Just a question for all the owners of 5 wide lcd stands, what brand and/or model are you guys using, or did you go custom. I see Ergotech has a really nice penta stand that will do nicely for my 5x1 portrait setup, but its over $800. Any alternatives?

Any rumors on when we'll get the eyefinity 5 or 6 edition of this card so I can upgrade the 5x1? Or do we have to putz around with that DP breakout hub?

i retract my earlier statement, having problems with drivers again. After running amd overdrive auto-tune started getting screen artifacting and flickering on my monitor that's on the dvi port.
