I'm not where to post this but I was having no problems with my system until I installed the latest ATI driver. I was on version 10.x and needed to install 11.x for Battlefield 3. I have 3 Dell 2709W monitors and an Sapphire 5970 graphics card.

I swapped the Dell monitors around - problem still exists
I unistalled the CCC 10.10 driver, it put me back to 10.8 - problem still exists
I installed 10.3 CCC driver - problem still exists
I replaced the DP cable with another one since I revied one which each ...

Yes, All 3 of these monitors are the same and have 2 DVI, 1HDMI, and 1 DP port on them.

Not sure how much you want to spend but the Dell 2709W is a very nice monitor and is 27" 1920x1200.

I have 3 of these monitors currently in eyefinity mode and they look great.

Since the middle monitor uses the display port and I have the extra DVI cable, what about just buying a DVI female/female adapter and diasy chain the 2 cables. Or would the single 6' be fine.

So I will be building my new PC tonight and last night I set my 3 monitors up on my new desk. I got an executive desk so my PC will be on the right side of it and the DVI cable from the left monitor does not reach that far. If I get a 6' cable will I lose anything with the extra length or is it fine ...

I've not found VS 2008 sluggish on my current system. I would keep my system but I'm thinking the CPU would definitely bottleneck the 5970.

I've already order 3 Dell 2709W monitors, they arrive on friday
I purchased a Sapphire HD 5970 video card
I puchased the HAF 932 Limited Edition case, Red with the AMD Dragon on the side.
Already have a Thermaltake ToguhPower 750W modular PSU

Now I'm shopping for ...

So I noticed the Dell 2709W are on sale for $799. Only question I have about that is I can still get it cheaper from Buy.com, only $755.99 each, small shipping and no tax. So a savings of about $300.

How is the NEC MultiSync EA261WM-BK - LCD display - TFT - 26"?
or the ASUS VW266H Black 25.5" 2ms(GTG) HDMI Widescreen LCD?

I know both these would require a DP-DVI ...

Remember that with Eyefinity you can't drop to something like 3x1920x1080, so you better get CrossFire or be happy turning settings down in some areas.

I looked on Dell's website and didn't find any u2711.
The only 27" is the u2709W listed on their website
