Sick fov, again.

Why do developers insist on doing this? makes no sense. It's as simple as letting you change it.

But well, let's hope somebody comes up with a solution cuz I tried modifying some values but nothing works.

It's already around the net.
I usually download and test games before buying them to avoid this kind of problems. Don't see any harm on this behaviour.

I would have buy FarCry 2 if I didn't test it before. I didn't like the consolishness feel of the game so I didn't buy it. After 3 months ...

What resolution are you playing at ? Does the FOV look ok in 4:3 ? Can you post a screenshot or ...

I'm playing this game and I've noticed that the FOV isn't good. I think is like 60 or 65 and I would want to change it to at least 80.
I read this game uses UT3 but the game folder doesn't have the usual ut3 engine files.

Any help is appreciated.

I just played and started a new map and just hit my shortcut key again and it worked. I guess I never tried that; did you try that?

I made a bat file like you said too and it works perfect! Only thing is it doesn't work with saved games but I started all over again anyway, with proper FOV, and now I'm enjoying the SP campaign.

The only problem I get it's a message on the bottom left saying "Too many ...

Does this fix work for 1 single screen on 16:10?


I really DON'T understand why if there's support in the engine for changing FOV they hide it like that, it's really not a good move. IW bring back the FUC**** console!!!
