it's grayed out because the .ini file does not exist. you need to start the game and make some changes in the controls-section so that the .ini file get's created.

if the videocard provides enough ports, of course!
as you know, 5870 E6 can drive 6 monitors. do not use eyefinity but leave all screens in normal extended mode.

Really EVERYTHING is possible with SoftTH. SoftTH is a simple DirectX-Proxy-DLL. So you can define the resolution which the game shall render (for example 7431*3679) and then configure the monitor positions (exact pixel-position, which makes perfect bezel-management possible). Close, however unfortunately we all know that the TH2G will only output 5050x1050 (a max of 1680x1050 per screen).


uhm, yeah i forgot...

but this resolution-limit should (theoretically) be abandoned with displayport :(

I got STO to work with SoftTH, but i have a small issue:
There is always the Windows sandglass-cursoricon instead of the STO-Cursoricon.
But i think that only happens with Windows XP and SoftTH.

I can't find any config file for editing the ingame resolution, i only found a GamePrefs.PREF in C:Program Files (x86)Cryptic Studioslocaldata

That should be (correct me if i'm wrong) three Nec curved monitors (2880x900)

btw. Alienware has an equivalent product (also 2880x900)

default fovs are:

4:3 = 70
16:10 = 95
16:9 = 101

So with three 16:10 monitors the fov should be 285, correct?
However, when using 150 as fov value everything still looks okay.
when using 170 and higher the fov is rising exponentially:

i experienced a weird issue: after pressing the key-binding to correct the FOV (set to 285 @ 5760x1200)
the complete picture is upturned:



looks like the FOV is limited in UE3...

Fovfix from HaYDen does not work with 1.002? It does not work for me...

SoftTH works since applying Patch 1.001 :bowdown :cheers

i will try 1.002 now...

I thought ATIs Eyefinity cards would be a great advantage for SoftTH users because with useMultihead=1 you don't have to care about PCIe bandwidth anymore.
This assumption was wrong. A lot of people report that SoftTH only works with Eyefinity if useMultihead is diabled.
