Not everything is OK. In the main menu the text is truncated - at least for Steam version, see link.

The Settlers III Gold
I've managed to run The Settlers III Gold Edition (lang. Polish, version 1.60) under 1680x1050 resolution. Unfortunately it doesn't look great.
Repro steps:
1. Open s3.exe in any hex editor.
2. Find one of hex values:
