Gaming Room Circular Projection Build Log
Great news that sol7 is working on the eyefinity front as well! As for the desktop rendering issue you may be able to run a virtual machine in full-screen mode - there's gotta be a vm client that takes advantage of directx/opengl. although when i do some searches its only showing results related to ...

good point as I think you are the only one who is living in the non-abstract 3 projector setup world at the moment! glad to hear minimal overlap is working well.
have you figured out any way to get the geometric correction to work for the desktop?

Gaming Room Circular Projection Build Log
I'm putting together a similar 3 projector setup and have just finished my back of the napkin calculations for screen size, etc. Here are some considerations when optimizing megapixels and aspect ratio:
1. Your calcs should all originate with the native resolution of the 3 projectors. (i.e ...

Multi-Projector Gaming?
Good call BHawthorne, all of my efforts are in the project/multi-projector arena. You are a few steps ahead of me with your sol7 multi-beamer setup.
Here's what i'm putting together:
Projectors: 1x Mitsubishi HC4900 1080p, 2x NEC 1024x768

Square Screen Gaming with a CIH Anamorphic Lens?
Definitely agree that its quite the internet wasteland when it comes to setting up a 3-projector system. You are way ahead of the game by choosing 5:4.
This whole anamorphic lens thought-experiment is really in response to 'not choosing' 5:4 early on in the project, and making due with 16:9 ...

Square Screen Gaming with a CIH Anamorphic Lens?
Here's my question to the community: Do you think that a lens based solution similar to CIH is possible in order to achieve additional height for tall/sqaure screen projection gaming?
