Thank you for the kind words Zencyde. Ahh there is no shame with a 5x1 setup that uses 22" dells...just a little more bezel gap :-)
You can always return / sell those monitors and built something like mine. You can get great prices on these monitors (or the 23" versions) if your shrewd & have ...

Thanks for posting my setup and thanks for the kind words everyone! Callsign Vega built this type of setup first using the 23" version of the monitors, which inspired me to do it with 27" displays.

Yea only one dvi supports
Yea only one dvi supports 1600p so you need an active adapter for the second monitor or use a displayport connection if the monitor has that. You probably have crossfire turned on, which is why you get a blank screen when you plug it into the second card. Disable crossfire and the second monitor ...

I have 6970, is the adapter for 6 displays available yet?
I'm running three dell U2410s on one 6970, but I would like to run five. I know this is possible, but a special adapter is needed. Does anybody know whats going on with these adapters. I had heard they would be released in the summer, but I can't find any info?
Thanks for any info!

Re: Eyefinity 5x1-P is LIVE with "Cayman" Driver
Gar, I just sold my asus eyefinity 6 and replaced it with an XFX 6970. The 6970 is supposed to support up to six monitors, but you need some new adapter. Does anybody know when the new adapters will hit market?
I swear if its not one thing its another to get in my 5x1 way, lol

Re: Eyefinity monitor order grouping swapping follow wake-up
For the first issue, I find that if I open a program like track ir (or something else that needs admin priv) it will kick start the displays back into the proper order. Before I found this out I was going into CC and redoing everything, which was a major pita. Not the most ideal solutions but it ...

Confirmed Solution for DCS Black Shark: http://www.widescreengamingforum.com/node/12341
Zooming out on the cockpit view results in Hor+ gameplay, the rest is Vert-. No obvious way to increase the FOV itself, I'm afraid.
Thanks scavvenjahh! I will check into this!!

HELP: How do I increase the FOV in DCS: A10c Warthog
I got the beta for A10c Warthog, but I do not know how to increase the FOV to over the default fov which appears to be 90 degrees. I am looking to get 120 or greater FOV. Can anybody help? I imagine it would be the same as blackshark. Thanks for any help.

Re: Eyefinity with 3 4:3 screens
Once upon a time I had three Dell 2007fps and I stripped the bezels off of them. They were great and it definantly was not worth the money I spent to replace them with three dell U2410s. Go for it OP and if you are daring you should strip the bezels off like I did as it was a great improvement ...

Re: two 5870s, one computer, 3 monitors & 2 projectors = HELP!
Its strange, last week I had two Isival MP720B1 720p LED mini projectors and I was able to run them in an eyefinity group on the second card, however, it blue screened my computer after five minutes. I had worked for a few hours but I could not get it to group the two projectors after the bluescreen ...

Re: two 5870s, one computer, 3 monitors & 2 projectors = HELP!
Crossfire is disabled but the crossfire bridge is installed, and I do have 10.6 drivers installed. I am using Windows 7-64bit. I tried to just use one projector off of the second card and it is not stable at all...I also made sure that the fan control was cranked up with both cards, but I still have ...

Yea thats what I am going to end up doing. The seam may be a little annoying but at least its not a bezel, also, I will keep my $1,800 until the tech becomes much more affordable.

Re: Two 1080p projectors + Eyefinity + Scalable display = ?
I think you can get far better immersive effect than monitor based eyefinity. But the question is the cost. For scalable display solution I do not know what's the price for the software and the software loading on the cpu. I have set up two projector edge blending for game and the result is amazing ...

I am in the quest for big screen widescreen gaming without bezels and I am ordering two Mitsubishi HC3800 1080p projectors. I want to run them in eyefinity, however, since it is only two projectors I know that there will be a noticeable seam between them.
