So long as the game drags me in, I don't care what genre/type of gameplay a game has. Games for me is an escape from the real world and as long as it does that and keeps me interested; i'm a happy boy. I'm hooked on Batman at the moment and haven't played continuously on a game like this since Biosh...

Since all i've done is slam money into this house and five games that I want have been released all in one go, I think it's time to treat myself..... Well I went mad and bought both (what the hell); can only seem to play resi5 ...

Woohoo! Got my steam account back! :D
Played the demo of Shift tonight with seemingly no problems apart from it's not all that good. I won't be in no rush to get it, if at all (even though my girls like to get the NFS titles for me for xmas) I will try and put them off; Grid is far far better.

Yeah no new games apart from the new Alien V Preditor V Marine and Hiest look interesting to me. Age, plus high expectations = less games for us mate.

well less games that push all the buttons. Things might change though as the winter months start to evade our daily lives.

Games just don't seem to drag me in as much as they use to, the last game to do so completely was Bioshock; even Fallout 3 wasn't as good in my mind (still a cracking game mind you). It all seems to be fancy graphics and hardly any innovation, just clones of clones and there is usually a huge dissap...

I guess by that definition I'm a serious gamer. I play 2-4 hours a day to help disconnect from work :D But I barely play more than 2 games in 4 months time. I'm lucky to play an hour a day now; with the way games have been lately I have lost a fair bit of interest in them but do still like to dabble

Would just like to know if the members here are serious or more casual gamers (casual, meaning playing the odd game here and there, but not on a regular basis)? I use to be quite serious but hardly play any now due to health and family priorities. I have a collection of 500+ Pc games which i dig out...
