Re: Easy way to switch to one monitor on TH2G?
Thanks! Also if anyone found this thread searchin for Lead and Gold - you need to go to the settings file which is in C:UsersAppDataLocalLAG_BETAdatasettings
You need to adjust the aspect ratio there, too.

Easy way to switch to one monitor on TH2G?
I have 2 games now (Love, Lead and Gold) which really don't work well with an ultra wide resolution. In LaG's case, setting a lower res for the game in config files doesn't even work, because it does some aspect ratio stuff based on the desktop resolution it seems.
Thanks

Perhaps an odd scneraio for the TH2G
I wouldn't suggest a plasma - heavy, not the brightest option, uses a lot of power and outputs a lot of heat. Also susceptible to screen burn if it the menu stays static too long.
I'd get large HD LCDs ... but you can get low end ones. Just make sure the viewing FOV is good.

900 dollars, whats the best cpu/mobo/ram/video solution
Ah okay - so no on ATI, then.
I guess I'll look at 285/295 and buy the most cpu/ram/mobo I can otherwise.
I'm still liking the phenom's more than the c2d. The chips and boards are way cheaper too, so I can move a bit more money into the GPU(s).

First post here. I'm looking to get into surround gaming but need to build a new box.
I'm going to spend about 1k on 3 22" screens and a th2go, but I need to pick out the CPU/Mobo/RAM/Video
So, if you had 900 dollars, which combo of those 4 would you get?
