Thanks! Also if anyone found this thread searchin for Lead and Gold - you need to go to the settings file which is in C:UsersAppDataLocalLAG_BETAdatasettings
You need to adjust the aspect ratio there, too. |

| I have 2 games now (Love, Lead and Gold) which really don't work well with an ultra wide resolution. In LaG's case, setting a lower res for the game in config files doesn't even work, because it does some aspect ratio stuff based on the desktop resolution it seems. I wouldn't suggest a plasma - heavy, not the brightest option, uses a lot of power and outputs a lot of heat. Also susceptible to screen burn if it the menu stays static too long.
I'd get large HD LCDs ... but you can get low end ones. Just make sure the viewing FOV is good. |

Ah okay - so no on ATI, then.
I guess I'll look at 285/295 and buy the most cpu/ram/mobo I can otherwise.
I'm still liking the phenom's more than the c2d. The chips and boards are way cheaper too, so I can move a bit more money into the GPU(s). |
