My thoughts above were jumbled together without much structure, I was thinking a 27 inch in lieu of 3 screens, or creating custom a 3screen p-mode device ...

I went nVsurround the moment they released the drivers capeable of doing it. I have 2 BFG GTX 285 OCX powering 3 dell E2009W monitors. I have an i7 920 OC to 3.4Ghz in an Asus p6t6 WS Revolution MB.

NV surround works on P mode, like Ugzz said, set the monitors to P mode before activating surround.

I have been in the beta since september, I have bugged it, requested it be looked at. And in atleast one encarnation of the beta forms had a small discussion with other eyefinity/surround usrs and one dev about it.

Ok gents I did some more poking, I may have found my soulution, I downloaded the MSI afterburner software and downclocked the OCx (702Mhz) to the same speed as OC (666Mhz) and I was able to play Crysis Warhead in DX10.

I will do more testing tonight before I declare victory.

Ok I have played with it some last night;

Rearanged the cables so that 2 monitors are the GTX285 flagged #1 by the OS and one on the card flagged as #2, and on the #2 card it is on the DVI port furthest away form the MB (as shown in the diagram during the setup) before that I had 2 monitors on ...

Well, I have loaded the WHQL release of the Nvidia drivers;

WoW still plays like a champ.

Using changing the settings in the settings.txt gets Torchlight in 5040x1050 rez (resets to 1024x768 if i try the bezel corrected resolution).

As for an update; I kept getting driver errors, windows system log was saying the video driver stoped responding, and was recoverd, I always noticed when hit append becasue my screen would go blank.

My new budget I could swing 3 $150 monitors or the TH2Go but not both. I have settled on spending around $250 on a good 22" monitor that is supported, and buy the other two monitors and TH2Go later.

My purchase time got pushed back, Washer broke, Financial Coordinator (AKA Wife) got a new Electrolux front loader w/ matching dryer. Unfortunately my budget got clipped :cry: so tipple wide is out (for now)
