very poor response to this thread. i would have thought someone would know. no programmers here? or even armchair programmers? this isn't the only such "hard-coded" game either. i'd pay another $10 for native 1920x1200 for armies of exigo.

this is a 2006 pc game released in most territories by atari. so it's not really that old. it seems it's one of those pain-in-the-ass games with no way to manually change/override the graphical settings, specifically it's resolution. this game only supports 640x480, 800x600 and 1024x768.

i hear what you're saying but i see no difference. i carefully watched some of my own clips with the black bars, then added the tag and rewatched them. i saw absolutely no change like you say (fatter/shorter) and i was perhaps kind of also expecting.

seems there's an "official" youtube fix. all you have to do is add a tag (yt:stretch=16:9) to even existing videos and the problem is fixed. so there's no need to crop or whatever 1920x1200 clips.

1280x800 is is 16:10. You need to upload 1280x720 @ 30ps (i.e. 720p HD). All of the WSGF HD videos work fine at that.

well AGK doesn't let you choose the height, only the width.
so how do i make it 720 ???

fyi: they all have a 8:5 aspect ratio (that's what wmplayer shows @properties)

nah, something's not right. i do not believe that people who use 1920x1200 can NOT make proper full youtube vids ...
